Manchester by the Sea
Commonly referred to as “Manchester by the Sea” this area is home to approximately 5,000 residents. Perfectly situated in Cape Ann, Manchester had been known for being a fishing community for more than 200 years. Over the years due to its coastal beauty, it has become a popular summer destination.
Manchester has several picturesque beaches lining its coast including Singing Beach, one of the most popular. Singing Beach’s breathtaking views along with its easy accessibility from Boston by the MBTA train make for its popularity during summer months. Many small islands can also be found off the coast including Kettle and House Islands, two of the largest.
