Beverly

Beverly lies on the north shore along the coast of Massachusetts Bay. The residential and commercial community includes areas such as Beverly Farms and Prides Crossing with a population of about 40,000. Beverly is noted for being the “Birthplace of America’s Navy” as the first ship commissioned for the US Military had sailed from Beverly harbor in 1775.

Beverly’s most desirable sections of Beverly Farms and Prides Crossing were formerly populated by wealthy homeowners in New York state who had their summer homes here. Today, these homes are primarily occupied by year round residents. Area highlights include Endicott College, The North Shore Music Theater and the Cabot Street Cinema. Beverly is easily accessed by the MBTA commuter rail with service to Boston and by Route 128.
